Pyramidenkogel Turmlauf – Keutschach – September 11
The 3rd edition of this scenic race in the Carinthian Wörthersee region expectingly was influenced by the pandemy too. Finally athletes from 6 nations gathered at Keutschach, a few other international top athletes unfortunately fell victims to last minute restrictions.
The female race brought a surprise. A few days after a home win at Levoca Kamila Chomanicova from Slovakia added another win to her list. The prerace favourite and winner of the first two editions, Austrian Veronika Windisch (not fully fit), had to be content with the runner up spot.
After two very near misses Christof Grossegger finally did it. Clocking a 2:04 like in the previous years this meant convincing victory this time.
