Towerrunning 120 – Pyramidenkogel Turmlauf – Keutschach – September 11, 2022

On Sunday September 11th the Pyramidenkogel Turmlauf will be the first Towerrunning Tour 120 event since the virus changed our lifes. The venue is Keutschach on the famous Wörthersee, one of the jewels of the Austrian tourist region Carinthia. Although it’s of relative small height – the finish platform is 71 meters above ground – the mainly wooden tower located on top of a hill offers an overwhelming view of the surrounding lakes and mountains.

Technically it is an uphill sprint of about 25 seconds followed by 441 steps in an open stairwell. The prize money is higher than at a typical 120 point race and will be distributed to male and female winners as follows:

1st – 400€, 2nd – 250€, 3rd – 200€, 4th – 150€, 5th – 100€, 6th – 50€.
Additionally a Jacques Lemans watch waits for the winner in case of breaking the course record.

Race organizers and TWA are pleased to offer 12 travel packages comprising 100 Euro travel reimbursement, 1 night accommodation with breakfast and free race entry. Travel packages will be awarded to top ranked athletes. Interested athletes can apply until Sunday September 4, 2022 by clicking the application button website on the bottom of this announcement.

Optionally there will be up to 10 additional packages including travel reimbursement, 1 night accommodation with breakfast and free race entry available for TWA-registered international and national elite runners.
