Skyliner Everest Run If you have already completed Gubałówka, the top of Łysica, watched the views from the top of Górka Kazurki, it's high time to climb Mount Everest! To conquer the Roof of the World usually takes years of preparation, thousands spent on equipment and a very understanding wife or supportive husband. It will be easier for us, but it will not be easy either. Here is your chance to climb the highest peak of the Earth in the very center of Warsaw! What is it about? Skyliner Everest Run is a 24-hour stair run. To reach the height of Everest, it is "enough" to climb 41 Skyliners 56 times! You can take the elevator down. The party lasts 24 hours - you decide how you will use them. You can take breaks at any time. You can even go home, sleep and come back refreshed for the summit attack. One ascent to the top of the Skyliner is 41 floors. You can do this as many times as you want - if you're aiming for Lysica, you only need to enter four times. If you would like to visit Kasprowy Wierch - you have to climb thirteen times. Or you can go in three times, find it smells of sweat, and go home. Or you can sprint past the summit of Everest and keep pushing! Skyliner Everest Run will start on April 15, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. and lasts up to 24 hours. Competitors will start in eight groups, respectively at: 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 12:00 and 17:00. There will be 65 places in the first starting group (25 for participants from relay teams and 40 for individual participants), and 40 places in the remaining groups. The starting group is selected during registration according to the "first come, first served" principle (until the limit of places in a given group is exhausted). For all participants - regardless of the starting group - the event ends on Sunday, April 16 at 9:00. RELAYS can participate in the 7th edition of Everest Run! Teams of 4 people, including at least one woman, are invited to participate. More information about participation in relays can be found in the regulations. Note: in Skyliner Everest Run, pace doesn't matter - you just have to run to your dream peak within the time limit. The event is a challenge, devoid of time competition. The breaks between individual ascents to the top can be as long as you like. There will be rest zones waiting for the participants of the "expedition", thanks to which quick regeneration will be more pleasant. All competitors will go up one staircase and go down the lift. You should be prepared for the fact that due to the limited capacity of the elevator, you may have to wait a while at the top. Fortunately, there will be where! Want to know more? Take a look at the REGULATIONS tab, and if in doubt, contact us. The organizer of the run is the RK Rescue Support Foundation, which initiated the "Running on the stairs" campaign - weekly trainings on the stairs of Warsaw's skyscrapers. You can read more about the group and training in the article "Running up the stairs - a supplement to training and therapy for the knees?" on the website of "Running" magazine. Entry fee for each participant - in the amount of min. PLN 250 - will be transferred in full to the organization of the run, and the surplus will be used for the implementation of the Foundation's activities.
