This race was held for the first time on January 13, 2002. Race Philosophy
is raising funds for the British
Columbia Lung Association .
Race location is the Sheraton
Vancouver Wall Centre Hotel , the tallest building in Vancouver. There
are 48 storeys to climb, participants start in single mode every 15 seconds

Headquarters.
Every participant had to pay $20 as registration fee and to raise a minimum
of $100 donations !
Among donators with more than $500 a week for two in Paris could be won
- to climb the Eiffel Tower
Now some statistics: More than 100.000$ were raised, among
the 279 finishers the males outnumbered the females just by three !
